Helicopters and hot-air balloons should travel by hovering

If the Earth were truly constantly spinning Eastwards at over 1000mph, helicopters and hot-air balloons should be able to simply hover over the surface of the Earth and wait for their destinations to come to them!

  1. If I jump up off the floor inside an airplane flying at 400 miles per hour I should end up at the back of the plane. Hmm this doesn’t happen because the atmosphere is moving with me. You’ve debunked nothing only created more questions without answers

    • At least you understood we are inside something… an enclosed system… a container… The Firmament. As for the airplane… who said they flew at 400 miles per hour. They just glide without the need of fuel… fuel is only utilised during takeoff and landing, the reason you require seat belts. That is another conspiracy.
